Human Forest connects international carbon finance with high-impact initiatives to mitigate the effects of climate change. With offices in Bogotá and Inírida, we develop carbon projects that protect the Amazon’s biodiversity and empower Indigenous communities to live a good, self-determined, and sustainable life. Our certified emission reductions are tangible means to offset CO2 that cannot be avoided by decarbonization.

What we do

Our impact goes beyond carbon: we implement 15 development programs that enhance education, healthcare, infrastructure, and economic opportunities. We see ourselves as advisors and facilitators for local communities. It is the Indigenous peoples themselves who take the lead about their land and their future. Our role is to support them in creating lasting development conditions that respect their cultural heritage and improve their quality of life.
